Most of these eye-catching pieces are individually carved with chainsaws
and gouges. Because of the meticulous detail that goes into every
carving, each one has its own personality. Most pieces are carved
from dry seasoned cedar. I have chosen to use cedar as my medium because
of its exceptual resistance to weather and insects.
All items are handcrafted originals and influenced by the beauty of
the wood. Most often, a natural feature will capture the artists's
eye and imagination and a whimsical bear or animal will be the result.
Each piece is personalized by the artist using a small brass plaque.
Strong and functional, these beautiful natural artworks make a unique
gift or signature piece for your home or garden. These pieces can
also be used in front of business' for a visual impact other than
traditional neon signs.
